Maybe if your in general freight or non essential goods. This year has been a record for us on the cryogenic side we've hired at least ten drivers and still cant keep up. Even had to order more equipment but I've been told by senior drivers that back in 08 they barely skipped a beat, it was business as usual.

Yay for cryo. We’ve been insanely busy. Gotta hire another driver here. Loving it. Freaking love this job. First time I can honestly say that.

We hired 3 more drivers since I’ve been hauling corrosives in just over 13 months. 2 are just starting but we are still slammed. This week was a bloodbath.

I've been running cryo for three years and this year I've seen just about zero slow down which by this time of the year is crazy. But also running our compressed hydrogen has probable kept me busier than our regular drivers.

Only chem loads I've ever ran was IPA and MEK which was cool easy going work. I just got pissed when I found out how much the brenntag and univar drivers unloading next to me were getting paid. lol

Everyone must know each other here. Sitting out here stacked up behind the guard shack at the powdered milk plant. This "staging outside" is what really adds onto these long, uncompensated hours here in simpleton, non hazmat land. Like these posts I've read just now seem to state, these 16 hour nights are getting old.
Might be quitting without another job lined up just in case I got to jump for my own well being.

Hows all our fuel haulers doing? I know some of you moved onto bigger and better things, haha. Anyone from Cali still throwing hoses? I've decided to come back to fuel hauling here in Florida. I left to try my hand at OTR work for a couple years. It was a fun experience, but not something I could do long term. Now I'm trying to get re-carded at the racks with this new company. Florida is filled with 3rd party haulers, but you can still make a decent living with it.

I wouldn’t mind Florida after the snow we just got in the inland Northwest.

Yep still here hauling fuel. I will not change disciplines, only thing I would do is leave the industry entirely. Still enjoying this though so we'll see what happens.

    Got this recently, time flies.
