Most of the 1099's, from my experience, are strictly thread starters for this here forum.

The tale your telling us about is pretty much cookie cutter in regards to expectations.

Are there good ones? Yep. But I'd be willing to hazard a guess that the ratio is pretty lean.

Ok man, so you struck out on that one company in Atlanta, the Faith Transportation or something like that. 1099 companies dont seem to work ehhhh.. what's going on? How come you only do 1099 outfits? I did them for some years because i had a dirty drug test and an accident. What's your story? Maybe we can help you out to get somewhere to work that's decent. Do you stay in Memphis?

if someone has to continue to "seek out" 1099 companies, there is something holding them back from "legit" companies.

no i am not, the other poster mentioned other 1099 jobs, all i did was check them out. i haven't dragged anyone thru the muck and mud. merely pointing out his list of 1099 companies.

 

Whatever you do if anything keep mouth shut about 2nd Amendment. You cannot risk being caught on record, video, audio etc implying a threat via gun violence.

This is not to take away from the 2nd or disrespect in any way, but whenever a animal threatens violence there is a choice, you match it until the threat stops or you back off and get the Law involved. They can put it down and as long you kept quiet it will work out in your favor.

I understand that sometimes the mouth says things but once said it can be used against you later. Particularly with the new fangled red flag laws cropping up like weeds trying to overgrow the 2nd. If there was such a law in your location they can confisicate your weapons that of your family etc. Then brand you as a unfit for buying anymore. Just because you told someone in anger that you are aware of the 2nd.

If it was me, I have a simple cooper system plus Ability, motive and means by the bad guy. They either come through the door at my home or car etc or they display at that moment a sufficient threat for me to draw on. And its not going to be a good day all around. Otherwise it's just dogs yapping in the pound. Noise.
