Day 2
Went out for a ride along with a trainer and it was real smooth... The loading and unloading process came real easy to me. I’m still in student mode taking everything in but compared to ecolab and doing air unloads, gravity unloads is a piece of cake. Now I need to learn my colors for the tanks. Also working the screen at the loading racks is gonna take some time(especially marathon). Got a few questions on some things that I’m sure I understand but just wanna be clear on for instance, Scullying out? Which from how I understand it is overflowing your tank during loading. Lastly I’ll need to learn how to drive a 13 speed. I’ve driven a 10 but nothing else and a lot of the trucks on the yard are 13s so I’m bound to get put in one.
Good news is I have training for the next 4 weeks...The bad news is I have training for the next 4 weekskemosabi49 and scythe08 Thank this. -
Scullying out is trying to put more fuel into a compartment than it will hold. If the sensors are working properly, the loading will stop before causing more problems. Then you will need to drain enough fuel back out (Check procedure for that rack, DO NOT DRAIN IT ON THE GROUND!!!!) to get the scully light to go out. Then switch compartments and continue.
scythe08 and meechyaboy Thank this.
