Out of curiosity and to protect myself in the future, when filing on someone's bond what do you need to prove your side? Is the Ratecon & signed BOL enough?
New Broker no quick pay over $2k load, do you do it?

We called the bond company to investigate what was required.... the broker overnighted a check the next day. Never had to actually file on it.exhausted379 and crocky Thank this. -
How new is “new”?
When I started my little baby brokerage we had to wire funds several times in order to make the carrier comfortable doing it. Or, before factors would accept us I’d call the factor that just declined us and talk to them and see what we could work out. Eventually all those problems went away after a few months. It’s tough getting started.
To answer your question I’d asked them to pay me half after loaded, and half after unloaded.fordconvert, exhausted379 and Tug Toy Thank this. -
On flip side, getting out of FL is always fun but I've never had so many flaky loads as I've had this week.. -
As a new guy I advise you to stay out of Florida. Good luck to you, driver, but you aren't likely to find it down there, especially as a new guy.

Download the Uber and Convoy apps for your phone and stop using brokers. Between the 2 apps, I haven't been stuck anywhere yet without being able to find a load, and both pay within a couple days after you deliver with no factoring fee.

Uber and convoy are brokers.
