The most infamous one was probably the second one (November, 1972) which Dan Gurney and Brock Yates (founder) won with a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 "Daytona". I remember seeing a picture that Brock took as they were somewhere in the west (AZ?) showing about 175 mph on the speedometer. I 've searched high and low for it, but can't find it.
