I think that was the plan with the box truck.

Please forgive me if I misunderstand something here.

    1) You and a couple partners bought a truck and started a company. None of you worked in the truck, it was basically just an income investment for you.

    2) You did not have experience in trucking. Perhaps your partners did, but it doesn't seem like they are involved any longer.

    3) You are looking to buy a different type of truck, that I assume you have no experience with, and enter into a slightly different model of business, which will present you with new problems in an industry that has already generated 60k in losses for you so far.

Honestly, I suggest that you try to get what you can from the truck, and make payment arrangements for the rest.

See if you can get your ex-partners to help you out at least a little. One of them was a friend. Do you still speak? Did things get bad enough that the bridges between you and them are all burnt?

I do NOT know all the details about what happened to your first business venture. If there was graft or theft, maybe you can run a trucking business if the dishonest partners are out of the loop, but I didn't get a sense of that.

If you ever watch boxing, I want you to consider this mental image:

You've just taken a George Foreman jab to the chin, and gone to the mat, hard. After an 8-count, you struggle to your feet, barely able to stand, but raise your gloves and lurch forward, pushing past the referee.

George is just standing there, waiting for the referee to call the match, but if the match isn't called, and the fight resumes, the next punch is going to hurt more.

    This is a good point.

Why isn't anyone else taking on any debt?

Reading between the lines, this is the debt with his name on it and the others have either run for the hills or declared bankruptcy.

Can’t squeeze blood from a turnip.......

The company debt may be on personal credit cards. If the company filed bankrupt. All the turnips will get the blood squeezed out.

Sell the truck for $20 +/- then $33 split, isn't so hard to battle.
All partners would split the profit. Only right they split the loss.

    Kodeblack Thanks this.

Currently i have access to the Amazon Relay board, JB Hunt, XPO, and a private broker in Va. For box trucks none of these are lucrative. For tractors its pretty good. From what Ive seen at Amazon Relay (which I know you all hate) $4k/week is doable. There are plenty of loads between $800 and $1,000 with low miles that can be done within a day. Thats where my initial income was going to come from. Once i got a little cash i was then going to see about getting more dedicated work various companies. At this point though everyone has had really good advice. I just need to figure out how im going to go about dissolving the company. Whether i work more myself (which i have been doing a little bit) to stay afloat and pay off debt slowly, bankruptcy (last option in my books), take others to court to split the debt.
