I would suggest using the ignore on him but then someone would just quote everything and you'd have to see it anyway. LOL

    Whats Up Pharm,
I just read through your thread a couple weeks ago, and I think its just plain ol' cool. There isn't an awful lot of useless posts and alot of good humor and information.

It seems you understand the basic fundamentals of running a buisness, and thats what I think makes the difference.
There are tricks of any trade, trucking especially, but with your reasonability, good work ethic, positive attitude, I'd bet on you coming out somewhere down the road, might not know just where, but you'll come out. :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

I've never been able to see trucking as an industry at all, it seems to me the only people who view it as such usually are complaining about freight rates, fuel prices, they are complaining about something, or they are passing laws or enforcing laws that deal with trucks and drivers [ DOT]. Their will never be any kind of industry standards because of all the variables involved with the different types of freight and different areas. Their are many similarities overall, but just as many differences. It also seems alot of people view "the trucking industry" as a competition of some sort, as in you are at a disadvantage by not having had the experience of greasing your truck, but by the same token, I have trouble reading alot of their posts because of poor spelling, grammar, and the inability to use punctuation. Greasing a truck is simple compared to some of the paperwork that you probably breeze through. What I think counts is flexibility, the ability to adjust to fit the requirements of the job.
So maybe, just maybe, you have an advantage, not against me, or another trucker running a similar setup as you, but against the odds against any type of small buisness, as you aren't fixed on how trucking used to be or how your buddy operates his truck. Competition is always gonna be there, but thats true of any buisness. I can guarantee you, there probably have already been people go out and buy a truck and try to follow in your tracks only to find out its not for them.

I wonder if you know more than you let on about trucks though,
it kinda strange you just so happened to pick out a PETE. :biggrin_2554:
In most 1 truck operations this is a critical choice, a good truck can make you, a bad one will break you. Glad to see you already knew that. :biggrin_25525:

Enlight of recent competition between certain threads, I have one suggestion and one question Pharm ? :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:
I overlooked this thread for a good while simply because of its title " LOAD BOARDS " :biggrin_2554: and I remember you posting that it got screwed up somehow. A moderator should let you slap a catchy title on here to attract a bigger crowd. Its really false advertising if your competition ever decides to go there on you.
Theres hardly anything about load boards.:biggrin_2554::biggrin_2554::biggrin_2554:

My question is, and I hate to ask this, but these days you never know,
is there any chance that you could fall off the wagon and park your PETE and buy another brand of truck to drive. :biggrin_2554: :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Be careful with that drain damage. You could end up with unwanted flooding.
