Where are you located? @Chinatown probably has a few leads.

You should be able to find a bunch of companies in that area. Most of the refer rates there are 3.05 per mile and up.

I've spent the last 6 weeks searching for a reefer company to lease onto also.. Just when I think I found one, I look up their FMCSA score and it ends up being all jacked up. Haven't seen a single one that lets you book your own loads..plenty of dry van companies that will let you book your own.

I know you can do it on Landstar but you’ll probably need to buy or rent a reefer trailer on your own. Landstar doesn’t appear to have reefer rentals. The other problem is that Landstar’s main focus is dry van, so there may not be as many loads on their loadboard compared to dry van.
You also want to look into John Christner Trucking (JCT) and Prime. I’m not sure if they allow you to book your own freight.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
If you really want to lease on with someone and have autonomy, I think it’s not the best option, check out Traveloko or Mag Carriers.
