Can anyone tell me what this gauge is for? And what numbers it should run? It's in a 2001 Freightliner classicXL with a 1994 N14 Cummins celectplus engine 525hp. I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything on it and what it should read.

Air filter restriction gauge. Should read 0-5” of H2O under hard pulls and if it starts going over 20 the filters are starting to get pretty plugged up.
Goodysnap Thanks this. -
Oh ok yeah under hard pulls it's been getting up to 8, the turbo usually gives between 23-27psi depending where my rpms are. Air filters were replaced in March got 74k on them. What's the usual life span of them in dual breather setup? I run kck to Oregon and back dedicated -
My 389 with a 600 x15 wont pull my restriction gauge over 1 and I have 237,xxx and two years on the factory installed filters. My 15” donaldsons I think are bigger then the filters on your classic, so if you’re pretty much just on the big road like me then you should get a year+ out of them.
pushbroom and spsauerland Thank this. -
I thought that the Celect Plus was introduced in 1997....

What type of line runs to it? It could also be a fuel filter restriction gauge.
