I have a 12.7 Detroit that came out of my 95 fld120. Pre EGR obviously.
The engine was apart when I bought the truck. It had eight hundred thousand miles on it and had bull gear issues.
I have their maintenance records and the engine was really pretty clean inside. To the best of my knowledge the head and the block are fine.
I have someone that wants to make a deal with me for just the head and the block and the gears. I'm wondering what it's worth for that, and also what it would be worth with the valve cover oil pan jake brakes turbo and accessory Drive and computer and computer wiring.
I put a mechanical big cam in my truck and I'm looking at my garage wondering if I should hang on to this engine, trade with this person is interested, or just put it up for sale.
Considering selling 12.7 Detroit engine
