Well the guy in post # 176 apparently is right.
Just heard from upper management that Heniff has purchased Superior Carriers.

I wonder when will they start taking the superior carriers logo off and start putting heniff on the trucks and trailers

I have a feeling it's not Heniff, but the investment company that just bought into Heniff, Olympus Partners. Posted that link below. But, guess we'll know more after the first of the year.

That's interesting since I'd gotten the impression in my preliminary research that Heniff was actually the smaller of the two companies? That might be why a private equity firm is involved making this a leveraged acquisition.

Well I wonder how this will affect their hiring practices since Superior was known for hiring and training new CDL holders while Heniff requires 2 years TT / 1 year tanker experience?

Superior use to be stricter, it's just been the last couple years they've eased up, even more recently straight out of school. My husband is also a drivers trainer, and pretty much everyone he's trained this year was recruited from school. I kinda wonder if they won't slow hiring until things get settled out

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, which sucks for me since I just completed my CDL class and got my license and endorsements this week. I had really been looking forward to going to work for Superior out of the Pasadena, TX terminal, it sounds like a really good company.

    DEllis Thanks this.

Best wishes for all of you that work for either company. I know it is a stressful time for you. Hopefully both companies will open up and get some accurate info flowing. Tamp down the rumor mill anyway. Good lucks to all.
