That’s the truth buddy. Go ahead and sit around satisfied you know everything about everything though like all the other NPCs. That makes me Lolololol on my end.
Don't be "this guy"

And here all along I thought that this post was about some bonehead that was blocking the pump. Who woulda thunktid.
Badmon, Coffey, Odin's Rabid Dog and 3 others Thank this. -
A wise professor once asked this rhetorical question: "If you go around your neighborhood, does that make your neighborhood round?"

I'm not going to bother replying to tbone since he has zero interest in scientific inquiry.
"This meme needs to die."
I take that to mean four things:
Don't ask questions.
Trust only what you've been told.
Only NASA has answers.
You are too stupid to question my dogma.
Notice his answer to feeling Earth's supposed movement is an assumption.
If the assumption is correct, then at what speed would you begin to feel Earth's movement?
Conversely, what size would the Earth need to be in order to feel movement at its current claimed speeds?
And no globe Earther will ever answer the two above questions in scientific terms.
As soon as you climb onto a carousel and begin to go around you feel movement. Upon climbing off the carousel you immediately no longer feel as if you are in motion.
If the Earth were, in fact, rotating at the speed it is claimed to, then objects near the equator would weigh more than objects nearer the North Pole due to centrifugal force.
Which is claimed to be a fact by NASA.
So, all we need to do is buy some gold from the north and sell it in South America. The notion sounds silly, but don't you think someone would have tried it by now?Last edited: Dec 11, 2019

This video explains in detail how science has become a religion having its own unquestionable dogma.
Rupert Sheldrake gives several perfect examples of why a scientist would lie.Last edited: Dec 11, 2019

The title for the thread has shifted its focus. Lol.
ltlmore, 24kHotshot and rachi Thank this. -

But riddle me this; wouldn't objects at the equator logically weigh less due to centrifugal force on a spinning sphere? It seems like it would be counteracting gravity and would literally be trying to fling you off. And then you can picture how this effect would be muted or even nonexistent the closer you got to the axis of the spinning ball...theoretically the North and South pole in our case...Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
