Waken by a Loves employee beating on my door.

I miss the old days of paper logs. Used to pull over at the onramp a couple miles from the truck stop late at night and get a few hours of sleep then slip into the truck stop around 4 am when others were opening up spots to get on the road so I could finish my break.

 

This is too common.Ive been blocked in numerous times.

I cant get over the 500 mile day. Really.

 

That's actually very admirable.

 

I was parked at a pilot in Georgetown,KY this summer in a legal spot not marked reserved anywhere. At around 9pm someone from pilot said I had to leave cause they said I was parked in a reserved spot and they wouldn't take my money for the spot then. I left luckily found a spot at the pilot the other side of the freeway. Reserved spots are getting ridiculous and are mostly a money grab for the truckstops

 

I feel sorry for the loves employee. I can just see it. Three guys playing Rock Paper Scissors with the loser having to wake up truckers. The winner gets to clean the showers and second place gets the bathroom.

 

If it's not marked reserved, it's not reserved. Period. It's not a restaurant.

 

Actually, it's whatever they want it to be, whenever they want, seeing as it's their property not yours and you don't have any right to be there unless they decide to let you.
