That sucks man, that’s the kind of crap Bison was famous for also. I was only suggesting then based on some good experience I had as an ABL, they never slow down and that their deductions/fuel discounts are good. However I did mention it might be serious ########, and that they will push the short haul crap. Thanks for letting us know the truth; I take back my recommendation lol.

@Gibraltar how’s your experience been so far with Caneda?

I wouldn’t waste your time, they’ve started layoffs and cutting staff/city drivers hours. They also returned all their company trucks, and laid off the drivers.

They also recently moved out of their terminal in Mira Loma they had for 21 years. They are now crammed into a corner of JJT in Ontario CA.

Dry Van and OTR LTL are dead, expect to see CANEDA, Transpro, Payne, TEAMs and any of the other Van OTR LTL outfits go under in 2020.

Depends where you are, and if you have a fast card or not.

US OTR reefer is booming, esp now that USMCA is signed off.

CNTL and CP are scrambling to move cans after the strike.

US OTR Open Deck/Step Deck is booming in the West, lots of work AB to WY/TX if you have experience.

LCV, Van, LTL OTR Van, Fuel, Dump are all in the toilet. Calgary to Vancouver overnight tridems are busy.

Thanks for that overview, no FAST card yet. I'm in Manitoba, currently there's some work hauling reefers to vancouver, but like everyone else, i'm also looking for greener pastures.

I would be over at ERB/Kdac ASAP, good place to ride out this recession.

Got any insight to the deck carriers with TX lanes? I made an inquiry with one out of High River and they are averaging $2.20/mile...

Steelhorse, I would be very very careful. Lots of big numbers and talk out of them; followed by lots of bankrupt O/Os and Layoffs due to lack of work.

DeckX has lots of Texas, esp now that they do all CNs deck freight.

I would also call Payne, lots of TX out of Edmonton.

Kleysen in Calgary seems busy also.
