    It is sooooooo good to finally be back in my own truck again, with all my stuff, that I may or may not need. This running a loaner, and only having minimal stuff with me, just drives me up a wall!!! It was especially bad this time cause I didn't even have access to my truck, to get what I wanted. Sucks when you have to scrounge an Atlas, and it's 10 years old.

    Well I've never seen this before and this is the 7th truck I have owned .
    Early this last summer i had all new shoes and seals put on the drive axles at about 720k.
    The drums looked great with no ridges, cracks and minimal heat checking , so I decided to keep the drums on for another round .
    So yesterday during a full service at Morehouse it was discovered that 2 of those drums were cracked clean thru .
    It now has all new drums .

    Started out with low oil pressure. While tearing into it, they found some teeth in the oil pan. Think it came from the gear that drives the timing belt.
    Between wrong parts ordered, rusted and frozen bolts, truck was down for 2 1/2 weeks. No idea what they did for original problem but, oil pressure normal now.

    I just went to the yard and started my apu (cold) and getting colder .
    Didnt see the Pete anywhere .
    Southern Nebraska and Iowa...all of kansas and Missouri looking ugly tmw .

    Good plan ...already snowing in Omaha.
    I'm headed down to russellville ark today and see they are already crashing on i29.
    If it gets nasty I'll just park it .
