I don't think it's that bad. Anything you buy in the store comes off of the parking fee. The foods not bad. Showers are free at that price, not glamorous but free.

Outdoor outlet mall is directly behind the truck stop, just a short walk, tons of stores.

    Casino right around the corner.

KW parts supplier in the lot next door to the truck stop that sure helps if your doing any repairs on truck yourself.

No no no no no no no!!!!

Not video poker. Real sit down poker. No limit Texas Holdem.

I never ever play machines of any kind. I only play where I have an edge and can expect to make money. Poker and if I am waiting for a seat I might dabble with live Blackjack. The rest of the table games you never have an edge over the casino.

The old Union 76 is now the TA on the west side of Miliken. The old T/A is now the Petro. Go figure.

I can remember places my father took me in way back in the 60s. Good food and most of the time no real problems. In the 70s and 80s, these old places were torn down or remodled. I remember several on I-20 in Mississippi and one just across the Alabama line. From my vantage point looking back, I can see one of the problems today. Way back when Truck Stops were most of the time smaller than today. They really took good care of the drivers. The one difference from today is they had security. Today unless they are in places like Atlanta there is no security because the operator doesn't want to spend the money. They let the property get run down and the trash starts coming in. I can think of several Truck Stops today that I would not even go take a leak in. These places were once good clean safe places to park for the night and eat a good meal. These bloodsuckers today run a truck stop and they sap every dollar they can out of it and just put the bare minimum back. You ask me what the worse truck stop is? With few exceptions ALL OF THEM!

I believe that would have to be a truckstop with no parking / no fuel / no food / and no bathroom. Just my 2 pennies.
