What is the worst truck stop in the US?

Pilot in Roanoke, Va has been on avoid at all cost list for years.. around 150 mm off I 81

The Pilot in Des Moines was bad.

 

I always stay at the Love's in Des Moines which you can tell used to be a Flying J.

 

Back when "worst" truck stop was defined by how many muggings, stabbings, shootings, drug busts, etc. they had each week...

Does anyone remember the old Seago TS in Jackson, MS? It sat about where the Petro is now.

 

You should have seen it before Pilot took over it. It was a real dump then with a dirt/gravel parking lot.

 

I remember a little bit. I remember the old truck stop a bit further west on the south side of I-20. I heard there was several drivers murdered or robbed there many times till it was closed. I think it is demolished today. Not sure what is there now.

 

Once backed into a spot with a swift flatbed tractor and 53 foot van, 5th wheel all the way back. Only to promptly leave when accosted by panhandlers.

 

I got a couple that pop into mind there is a flying J or pilot in TN off Briley really close to the Western Express HQ that was pretty bad. Also I remember a pilot with about 10 spots in Jersey. I staged there for a bit before a delivery in Hawthorne. Lol I say a prime driver finish up with his 10 infront of a “broken” pump. He did his PTI then proceeded to roll up the police tape, take the bag off the pump and put away his orange cones! ‍♂️‍♂️
