Ya, that is true! That guy obviously saved up his Vaca time for sure. I didn't think it was possible, But My Ex works for the state of Texas and I KNOW for a fact that she gets PAID vacation time, PLUS PAID holidays AND 8 hours PER WEEK comp time. And they can "accrue" it as long as they want. YOU do the math!

While I DO NOT begrudge them their "benefits", It REALLY get's under my "craw" when they start whining about "how unfair it is" that they have to do without for a couple weeks, when #1 they get ALL of that back once the "shutdown" is over. And #2 They could give a rat's ### when they put Hundreds of thousands out of work with regulation or Law. It doesn't bother them one bit!!!

I work 5 days per week, get 4 weeks vacation every year, NYD, MD, 4th, LD, Turkey Day, Christmas Day, some years we get NYE, Christmas Eve, and Friday after Thanksgiving off, depending on how busy we are, or, they will work in a rotation, if you get it off this year, expect to work next year.

My grandfather worked 33 yrs for US Steel, in McDonald, Ohio, when it closed, he had 16 weeks of personal/sick/misc accrued time off, plus 8 weeks of vacation, plus some other misc. time off. For the last 10 yrs that he worked there, he got 8 weeks vacation time, never took more than 4, collected the difference as pay.

No power steering is easy. Try a two stick tranny.
