The only load that I know of that is driver assist is mohawk. And they are only driver assist if they are going to a store. If they're going from one Mohawk plant to another they will be drop and hook. Personally I don't take Mohawk loads if they are going to a store because I have a severely bad back. However it's simply dragging carpet padding to the back of the trailer. Not that big an issue for someone he who doesnt have severe arthritis in their back.

So a few little things to update.
The brand new control panel for my windows and mirrors that the Volvo dealer installed last week is no longer working. I cannot roll the driver side window down. Take it up there Tuesday and they said it was the wiring harness which they did not have in stock so they have to order it.
Gotti 2 stop Florida load for Tampa and West Palm Beach. Went to pick it up. I noticed the trailer number did not match the paperwork. So I tell the guy in the shipping office and he says it's just a typo and changes it to the other trailer number. I'll drive 140 miles down to Clear Lake Iowa. I get a call from dispatch to stop where I am because I do in fact have the wrong trailer. Another Sav driver took the wrong trailer. He was heading to Washington with my Florida load and I was heading to Florida with his Washington load. He had already made it almost to Montana before he got stopped. So they had me double back and bring it to the yard pick up an empty and grab a load to Tennessee. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR TRAILER #!!!

One of the things I like about my gig (pneumatic tanker) is my trailer is assigned to me same as the tractor.

Of course, it only takes 2-3 minutes to load these trailers so no need for drop and hooks.

Been with SAV 2 weeks now. Been sick with a dental problem for 1 week of the two, so when the pain in my jaw goes away, I will start leaving fair comments instead of those colored by the painful abscessed tooth.

Still have a bad tooth but the way this truck is set up to not idle is driving me nuts. It is suppose to not idle from 40 to 60, but what it really does is 35 to 76. Since I have been in the Huston area for the past 4 days, all I have done is lay back there and sweat. Not a good quality of sleep doing that. I am in Searcy AR tonight it is 73 and of course the truck won't idle. Grrrrr.
