Like it worked for you and you took it one more year ? That’s cool if it worked for you though.
Though it seems to me people like me signing up for their programs are they’re one and only source of income so they have to screw us somewhere. My experience is that they always have some wording in their contracts not to pay you and every time they said we have final decision so we’re not paying
For real glad If it did work for you because that feeling of being dumb and getting screwed by them really sucked, not even talking about the time the repairs took and loss of income for them to decide on whether paying the repairs and ending up denying all of them -
So was there any legal action taken on trunorth?I did try to take legal action but after contacting a couple of attorneys And how expensive it was . I just let it go and I think this thieves know that the law is in their side. But hope someone read this before they buy and keep away from this scams. I will never buy again from kenworth in Menominee, Wisconsin with dick head sales representative Jeremy Asher. But everything comes around .

Personally I wouldn’t be able to do anything. I signed a contract with them and everything single terms in that contract is meant to screw you because they know what can cause a breakdown and turn down the claim based on that.
So everything single time they turned down my repairs basically they were in their right to do so because I signed a contact that said they could turn down the repair for that reason. -

I bought a Trunorth warranty through the dealer. It was $2500 for the engine and trans package and $1500 for the after-treatment on my 2013 Cascadia. After about six months of smooth sailing, I made four separate claims within about six weeks. The total cost was about $18,000. In the end, they paid about $15,000 and I paid about $3500 in deductibles and costs not covered under the warranty. I maxed out my coverage limit of $15,000.
They covered what they said they would and I feel I was treated fairly. They even reconsidered a claim when I pointed out a problem. They always responded to our emails within 24 hours. I'd buy a warranty from them again.
Working with them was pretty easy. I keep a pdf of all my maintenance records, so that didn't cause any delays. You authorize the tear-down and the mechanics send pictures of the failed parts and a diagnosis. My approvals came within 24 hours once they had everything. I paid my end of the bill, then they paid theirs quickly every time.
You just have to be aware that the warranty coverage may not work the way you think it does, not because they're trying to screw everybody but because unscrupulous people could take advantage otherwise. You may buy the warranty for peace of mind but you can't really rest easy because there's room to be unlucky depending on how your truck breaks.
For an example, if the warranty covers X failing and X is itself the cause of the failure, X is paid for. If part X fails due to Y's failure, then X isn't paid for, even if both X and Y are covered under the warranty. -
kemosabi49 and Long FLD Thank this.
