I'm not far from where you are.
Listen, call all of the LTL companies.
I'm not sure which are which because I don't really follow LTL companies anymore, but a good number of LTL companies if you work on the dock a little bit will put you in a truck. Many of them are outstandingly good union jobs with great benefits.
If I remember correctly ABF has their own School that they send people through and I thought it was located in New Jersey. They may have one in Pennsylvania I'm not sure.
But I'm telling you, call all of the LTL companies and you're going to find yourself a great local union job.Marcus7618 Thanks this. -
Thanks guys, I passed my cdl A test yesterday. I’m applying everywhere lol

The cdl school I graduated from said they will mail my license to me and it could take up to 20 days, is that usual??
-
Not sure about 20 days. Maybe that's a PA thing. Got my CDL initially in NC and was issued on the spot after passing my road test. Even transferring my license to NJ was issued on the spot. When I moved to VA it took about 10 days, but was issued a temporary paper license until it came in the mail. Some states DMV just way behind the times.
