Drove by this location the other day, and notice it was no longer in business. This is probably one of worst truck stops that I ve been to. I remember when it was a Petro, and how run down it was. I wonder will they keep the lot open behind Flying J since they did not own it

Remember the perkinson restaurant? Once that closed, it all went downhill fast. I enjoyed that restaurant too..

I'm pretty sure that on was a franchise owned Flying J. Before Petro, I think it was one of the All American truck stops.

I liked that fly j, used to have a good restaurant in it, not the chain one it switched to couple years ago. Hate to hear this, was also usually peaceful sleeping up top against hills.

That top lot looks like a landfill literally. Trash everywhere and trash cans that haven t been emptied in a few months. I guess the only thing left up top is Blue Beacon

That’s a shame, I used to load out of Baltimore area a lot, especially on Friday evening, never really upset me because I could always get parking, shower & good meal at this spot. Just had to make sure & not fall down stairs if it was snow packed. Anyone remember name of restaurant before Perkins ?

    Upinsmoke and bzinger Thank this.
