Pffffttt it's all nice.
Local beer, soda, and food will pay you while you train. I can personally speak for a few in central Florida but I imagine it's similar everywhere in the country.
Are there companies that pay for your training ?

Where is your location?
Several companies won't force teams and will let the wife ride after training.Last edited: Dec 21, 2019

The main reason I don't want to go there is it seems truck stops are too few and far between. -
Having a company pay for training is a scary thing. If you dont like the company, you're stuck. Many companies will give you extra to pay back your student loan. There is a govt program, I dunno if you qualify, that pays for trucking school. There are grants. You can go thru a community college and they have grant and loan programs. It's better to get thru school on your own. We make pretty good money, so it's not hard to pay back a student loan. Especially if you live in your truck. Many companies allow a ride along, even with a team. Covenant is adding bunk nets to the top bunk, so 3 ppl could easily stay in a truck. Great company too.
