Morning all. I got one for ya.

Friday I leave the house bobtail - to Joplin Petro, for a truck wash. TMC ahead of me, one ahead of him, then shortly after - a dually pickup behind me.

Guy on radio says “Heck of a place to die!”

I said - “Who died?” (Too much of that lately)

He says “MCS - turning into the Petro.”

So, the MCS driver keys up, we go through the obvious stuff. Says it’s showing half on the guage.

Anybody got a chain - he asks. I got one, but I’m not pulling him on my frame. So I said - “I got a chain, I’ll walk up now - you get another trucker to provide a tow. “

TMC rolls forward, so do I, figure I’ve got 20 minutes to help out.

I grab chain, and walk to the dually behind me. Ask him - “Feel like being a Good Samaritan?” . Sure. I walk up there, he’s got dogs and stuff in the jump seat. MCS has hood up. 2020 Caucasia. No fuel in fuel bowl. Find his tow hooks, dually has wrench, hook him up.

About when we’re ready to roll, Van Kampen comes rolling around his inside, oblivious. I motion him through, then we pull MCS to the fuel island.

Back to the truck wash. Guess who is behind me? Van Kampen. So I say to dually - “You get ahead of me, I’ll explain to Van Kampen “. (As a courtesy).

VK begrudgingly rolls down window. I explain. It’s pretty obvious - right? I mean, he looked right at both of us.

It was like I was asking him to sacrifice his first born.

I thought - you know - F___ you bud.

Dually got in front of me, we both rolled in the bay together, 20 minutes later we’re both gone.

The ‘me first’ mentality is rampant again.

Anyway - off to the shop - we is learning how to polish stuff.

 

You didn't realize he's on eld. Now instead of running 80 mph down the road he will have to run 90 mph. Because not leaving on time he was all ready behind. But it's all yer fault in snowflakes mind.
