And thinking about that for a minute, since both companies have roots in areas where snow is not just common, but expected; you would think that they would have windshields and wiper blade combinations that can handle snow and ice better, right?

I've locked my keys in t he truck a few times. Still never learned not to do it... :D

Kept a spare in my wallet but kept taking the wallet out so I wouldn't be sitting on it all day. Hard to keep a spare in your pocket all the time. All the hiding places for keys outside of he truck are obvious....

Just not sure why I would try to make locking the keys in the truck someone else's problem...

I have my spare hidden on the truck and challenged my boss to find it, and he has 30 years' experience on me..... I stumped him.... we even had a bet on it, if he didn't find it, he'd pay to have my hard wired inverter installed.....

When my dad passed away and I inherited his truck it took me almost a year to find his spare, and I spent alot of time on the truck but I had a key in my pocket also, his was in a box of spare this and that kinda stuff in a tool box. (That we didn't have a key for) Wasn't until I dumped it out to see what was in there that I found the key!

    Company should pay.

You wanna bury the truck up to it's axles in mud? Company pay the $800 for the wrecker.

    Run out of fuel?
Company pay $400 for road service to bring you 5 gallons.

You were probably in a hurry. Should have just broke the window and had company pay for that.

Pfft. I have been locked out of a Volvo. It happens when the cheap-arse piece of bat crap that Volvo so cleverly disguises as a door handle mechanism, decides to break when you shut the door and leave your keys in the switch.
