Check out Magnum LTD out of North Dakota. Very good starter company. You are in their hiring area. They have a drop lot in Greensboro NC.
. Get your CDL on your own and get on their training program.
When I went there all I had to do was sign a letter saying I was self employed for the last 10 years. I had all the tax documents but they didn’t even look at them.

Hey guys I don't have time to read through all the replies right now but I wanted to thank you all for responding. I've got a lead on a temp. job to get me through the next few months, a couple of leads from here, a local driver to talk to, and I'm going to be meeting as many companies as I can in person in the next few months to attempt to find employment in the industry.
I'll come back tomorrow after the holiday is over and respond to posts/ask questions/rant some more. Thanks again and I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe out there. -
I have only begin to rant sir!

Go get your cdl, hit up locals like construction types, such as cement, bottom dumps they tend to not care much. The fact you can type in English will be considered a plus. As long as you have not been going to jail, keep trying. May Trucking used to be forgiving, as far as someone being local, if thers a sleeper in the back there not local.

Unfortunately, it's been a few years since I got my degree and I'm way out of practice on everything I studied. At this point, I think the most I can do is get a home daily job and possible use my computer skills for hobbies or side hustle income.
I also moved to Mobile, AL and did complete a year pulling dry van so I'm kind of invested back into trucking. I'm hoping to find a better home time job then like I said maybe do techy projects on my own time. -
Yeah, that Switch looks like some futuristic space movie at night with the red glow coming from everywhere.VIDEODROME Thanks this.
