That cpm is on the really low side, I made that starting out years ago you’d have to run your tail off to make a decent check

May Trucking was good to me when I was there. At times I was doing almost 3500 miles a week, with a 60mph truck, and on recaps. It all depends on your Dispatcher and terminal.
Just show you can run, and run and run. But dont be afraid to cry uncle for a 34hr break to get the rest your body needs so you dont kill anyone and yourself.Eggroll'n Trucker, Upinsmoke and Need4Speed Thank this. -

That’s my biggest pet peeve (and I have a LOT, lol) with companies that pay by the mile. They may have needed to do draw some sort of line in the sand before GPS technology, but that crap doesn’t fly now.
Every carrier out there has exactly how many miles you drive every day. It’s right there on the ELD. They have no excuse for not paying for every mile driven.
Bottom line, it’s just another scum bag tactic to keep from paying the driver the money they earn.
Merry Christmas! Here’s to hoping at least a hand full of Kentuckians make their way through Arkansas this holiday season!Eggroll'n Trucker, Upinsmoke, LtlAnonymous and 2 others Thank this.
