    The 12 lunchbox ovens always worked well for me. Cooked many small roasts, chicken breasts etc in mine as well as warming up other things. But that is the only 12v appliance that ever worked for me. Coffee pots took way too long to brew that tiny pot.

    I never had much luck with the 12v sockets in the 2 FL's I drove.

    Didn't take long for the plugs system to lose amperage/wattage. I would have to use a 100 watt invertor just to charge my cell phone. Not even the 12v usb chargers would work.

    If you're creative enough. You can conjur up a good propane cooking system. I buy the 1 burner cooker from walmart. They come with a plastic leg you stick the propane bottle in. Screw the stove on to bottle and you got a really good and sturdy cooker for 1 pan.
