Not saying I didn't have to work allot to do it, but I made 70k hauling milk in 2019. I'm pretty pleased with that. More then I probably would ever made working for Werner if I stayed. I was home everyday. I'm pretty pleased with it. The boss just increased detention from a less then minimum wage to an acceptable $15 per hour when we go to the plant

That's darn good considering 2020 is only a few hours old.

    Congratulations on the $70K.
So much for the myth that new drivers make poverty wages.

You have to be willing to put yourself out there and work. Not a crybaby that wants to sleep in or take allot of time off. I average $23-$25 per hour. I work 7 day weeks allot and extra loads. Some days I work 12-14 but then I get breaks where I work 7-8 hours.

Aw, and here I thought you were going to say, "take this job and shove it" for 2020.

I wish all of the commercial truck operators in all of the different jobs we all do a happy New Year and safe travels in 2020.... Where ever that might take us with work.

No, I will be here awhile longer. The grass isn't always greener on the other side... And I don't have it that bad. Besides bad weather which sucks, I like what I do. I like serving the farmers. Most of them are decent.

    Coffey Thanks this.
