The only logical conclusion we can draw from this is that the Golden State promotes (a) having the longest and angriest lines of cars as possible accumulate behind trucks, (b) impeding freight transport, or (c) both (a) and (b).

    Ah... now I’m following you...
ya, I am constantly catching myself going over 55 mph and having to back it down... if only these new trucks had some setting on them that could keep you from going over a certain set speed... that might help... ;-)

Ya, the “logic” of the left coast eludes me.

55 mph on an interstate out in the middle of no where... then also 55 mph on a four lane road in the city with people on the sidewalk just a few feet from your bumper... just doesn’t add up to me... either one is way too fast or one is way too slow... but both just don’t make sense.

Having to call this security company every time I stop and move is a bit crazy but the military prepared me good for doing things that seem stupid, lol!

You got a load from the very same place I did last year.
    High, high value!
Did they tell you before you left the shipper or was it like my experience... Ooops the shipper forgot to mention it and I received a call from the monitoring service.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

Been short stuff, they had me in that mood friday, told'em I was coming by the yard to talk to Alen lol.

Been a year and a half now since i've been west,if i'm not on 95 i'm running to Ohio,me and my dm need to have a heart to heart.

    Besides that everything's been good.

When that happened to me, I was told that I had been having long runs. So....I went back through my book and showed them where I had been running, and how long each run had been for the previous 6 months. Guess they don’t count on a driver keeping a record? Especially that far back. Let’s just say my next run was to W Memphis and then to Reno. Even now, I document every move I make and keep every text my DM sends me. More of a CYA thing now, though. Matter of fact, I just threw away all my old load books from 2013-2017 the other day.
