On average, I run about 2500 - 2700 miles a week. I have had one really good week that got me about 3300 miles. And I have had some really bad weeks in which I got around 2100 miles.

I'm gonna have to not look at this as often as I do. I am getting just as many thoughts and opinions on the subject as miles I average per week. Not that I don't thank y'all for it. It's just blowing my brain up. Haha. I will do this though. Im gonna experiment with different things to see what things or combination of things work the best for ME. I do know one thing though. I'm starting to break 7.5 mpg on a 40000 lb load. I think that is because I'm figuring out what my truck likes and doesn't like. Anyway, I'ma keep y'all posted on my findings. One more thing. I'm gonna start a Facebook page detailing my trips and all. A blog of sorts. I will invite y'all to it when I get it set up.

Truck stops uses Baldwin or fleet guard. Freightliner dealers use the same thing. But Volvo dealers use Volvo filters (dont no who makes them)
Dealers also used to charge about $100 more than truck stops. But truck stops have increased price to catch up with dealer price. I prefer dealer but not because it's cheaper. As far as maintaining a record, that's another reason I prefer the dealer. The e-mail me a copy of work done and invoice. I just forward it to the maintaince file. Cone tax time I just open file and the numbers are all right there.Farmerbob1 and flood Thank this. -

What does it cost you? When you say no where near $300, I assume you mean it's less? That makes me think it's an older model truck.
My freightliner century used to cost appx $200. But my current truck has 3 oil filters, a fuel filters, a fuel water separator filter, a water filter, air filter, and the air dryer has a filter.
Crazy trucker said it cost him $475
