Got on site in Tallahassee early (one solid day of driving this “hot load” but spread out over two days) and I guess the LUL has been moved from 6am to 8am (or so local guy tells me) and just my luck there just happens to be two bars in this little strip mall... cheers!!!
agreed... it’s a good day...jarhead0311 Thanks this. -
Dropped my load in the yard and went to the body shop. They red tagged my truck told me at least two months before fixed due to them being backed up. They put me in new team truck temporarily, 20060. They kept reminding me I can't keep it as it has to be a team truck, lol! Found a design flaw, there are two different headlights, lol! AC doesn't work up front either. Prob stuck somehow. Better than an old truck though. Picking up at the Jarratt BH and dropping in Groveport then turn and burn with a load to Fife WA for home time.

Yeah it might be short lived,because it's not suppose to pu when Anilene says it does.

After dodging chainups in Montana and truck prohibitions for extreme wind in Wyoming I'm stuck near Boise because of, yep, chains required over Meachum and Cabbage Hill on 84. If I don't get out of here today I'm going be stuck here until next week due to the massive amounts of snow forecast for Friday through Sunday.
@jarhead0311, what would you suggest?Last edited: Jan 9, 2020

I wouldn't mind sitting since this really doesn't happen to me often but a curious set of circumstances have aligned such that it's going to be financially painful at the worst possible time of a month if I have to wait for the following paycheck to get these miles.
That, and I don't drink. I know, what kinda trucker don't drink? #totalsquare -

On a related note while I was nosing through the Oregon chain requirements I noticed my two bags don't meet the minimum carry requirement. Even if I wanted to attempt to hang chains and go slow I wouldn't have enough without going through the pain for getting an EFS check issued. So that's good to know.
