Hi before I finish reading this, comment:
Speaking from experience last year, tell you first, sofar its been the best thing i've done to help me in my career, my employer hasnt got me in a big truck but I am in equipment now, I also basically get looked at differently, like aye this boy can be trained.
onward, I recommend, going to the school, making sure they have decent instructors. Look at the workbook, I did TTCC and I would say that I am over any downside/drawback to the time of my attendance since then they improved literature, I believe they do have quality instructors and high standards of training, my instructor was a very quality human. I was the only one in my class that paid out of pocket, so do this through a grant process, I was also i believe more keen to be a good student because it was my own money. I am aware of my own sort of learning slowness, and knew it would take extra effort.
Go and actually study. ride along, dedicate your day to it, when the truck breaks down watch the mechanic. stay late.
I dont know how actually having the AZ would help you from the DZ but maybe your employer would value you having the AZ in that scenario I would move in the direction. Live your life if your drawn to truck.
What are the steps for becoming a trucker in Canada?
