Okay I stand corrected on the adapter deal. Looks like buytruckwheels.com does actually sell a direct fit 19.5” steel wheel for the RAM 3500 at least up till 2018. But you have a 19 right? That would make it a little more economical if you planned to run the truck for awhile but that is still $1000 just for the wheels at about $200 each. Throw in the tires and Centramatics and you’d be looking at $3k easy.

Still a tough call IMO if you aren’t dead set on keep it anyway but if you have the money and want to do it...

It looks like with the 8-10 lug adapters you can run 6 aluminum Alcoa wheels if you want to be super fancy. With the direct bolt-on American Force kits they give you a steel inner wheel just like how the factory setup is. I always thought that was cheesy but I don't think I have ever seen a DRW little truck with 6 aluminum wheels stock. The nice thing with steelies is that you can rotate them if all 6 have the same type of tire since the color is the same on both sides of the wheels.

For direct fit on the 2019 ram you can use the ford rims according to Buytruckwheels.com. Getting just the rims from buytruckwheels.com and the tires locally. Coming out $2850 total installed with a spare (7 wheels). I am getting different tires for the steers. I will rotate them left to right and the same with the drives.
They have alcoa rims that will also be direct fit but I don't need to worry about scratches on pretty rims. I'm fine with practical steel rims. They actually look good on the truck. Took off the chrome covers off my current wheels also because it was a pain in the rear trying to keep them shiny.

Bridgestone has the R238 Duravis in LT245/75/R17. That is what I have on my 2WD DRW in 215/85/R16. Closest thing I could find to a true steer position tire for a little truck. Same exact tread pattern as the full size 22.5" R238's

Not too bad. The good news is you can always sell them separate if you decide to get rid of the truck, so I would hang onto the stock ones. Lets see some pics when you have it done.

Not sure if there the same but Ford did use a 8 lug 19.5 rim on the earlier F450's pre 2015 Might be worth checking it out

Those are different. Ford used that pattern on their 99-04 450/550's but it was a much larger 8 bolt pattern, not even close to the 8 bolt pattern on 16/17" dually wheels. (From 2005 on they have used the same 10 bolt pattern AFAIK.)

You just bought that truck about a year ago correct? What came on that truck... Firestone TransForce? Those are junk & only last most people 30-40k as you mentioned. There are probably some Michelins that would fit. They usually don't get the greatest traction cause they are such a hard compound but that's what makes them last a long time. Those Bridgestones mentioned up top would be great too.

Bought the truck last May, they came with Nexun rubbers. I think the 19.5 rubber is a good long term investment. I'm having it installed on saturday.

I'm late to the party & see your going 19.5. Will work out good.

If staying 235/80r17 the Bridgestone duravis r500hd is where it's at.. Went 118k on a set of drives on my old 3500. Still had 4/32's when I pulled them..
