When i get my cdl in a couple of years, I'm going to apply at sysco for a delivery driver... What's a normal day working for sysco like? Do they pull smaller reefers? What's the starting pay like?

12 to 14 hr days, night shift in alot of cases, day cabs, and the money is pretty good.

But your going to need a couple years exp to drive for them. So you should be calling Swift first.

You can apply, the worst they can say is no. But Sysco is a carrier that looks for experienced drivers.

That I don’t dispute, but the guy still won’t need to go OTR for experience.

That’s not true. After 3 month off experience they hire you.
