What’s interesting to me about this whole program is how they constantly post hiring requirements that would give Walmart back in the day a run for their money. So, do they regularly bend their own rules to get folks in the door or are there that many drivers who have been trucking for years and are suckers as bad as the new guys? Hurricanes reputation isn’t exactly a secret, at least on here

If I were signing on to a lease purchase of a $150K+++ truck, I'd carry the contract to a lawyer BEFORE I signed it.

Especially the part were it says your a L/O or I give company permission to bend me over by signing this contract & not a O/O, who can pick up his marbles & go elsewhere.

If its not up to you on the spec's of the truck that you are buying/owning.. then you're not an "Owner/Operator"... its that simple. If you have done your research and the tractor is not spec'd to the standards of your plan... then you made a choice to not succeed in your plan.

My nutshell we be lease to fail programs are too expensive. The company mandates fuel efficiency and if you fail to operate at target mpg you pay a fee. These companies make it clear it's not about ownership its about the profit. I will let a dummy be a owner and I will make 3000 a month on the truck guaranteed. The op will get on youtube 7 days a week while sitting in that truck man or woman smelling their self while talking up lease purchase. Then a few weeks later bam YouTuber gets a new job. Stay employed save your money and get your credit together and buy your own trailer truck.
