    Wouldn't say it was fun while it lasted exactly one year holding a cdl received two 15 mph tickets, one in my personal vehicle & one in the truck . At this point you just have to throw in the white flag it's amazing to say never received tickets prior to obtaining my cdl license I should have stuck to becoming an aspiring nurse . I'm still 23 years old still have other careers choices I can choose from but at this point & with my luck I'll rather give it up now. By the way I haven't gotten into a single wreck

    I did it the easy way, took my Navy DD-214 to Coast Guard office and qualified for "Ordinary Seaman" without having to take tests. Plan was to use it as a backup in case trucking didn't work out.

    I think you will be much better in the long run doing something besides trucking anyhow. This industry is far in the trash.

    Get back into Nursing. You'll make good money with out having to work the insane amount of hours a trucker does.

    Your still young. Enjoy your life.

    I wouldn't throw the towel in. If you still like trucking step off the road for a few. Maybe do yard jockeying. Overall ease up on the pedal. It's not the end, trust me seen worse & been in worse. I'm still turning the wheels. I had a bad spell in my trucking career I had a 3 accident within a year's time. One was a major one with myself. You learn do differently and get back in the seat. All the best to you. You can recover from this. If need be get some legal advice & mercy is always available
