There's people on this forum that stay out months at a time and I don't see them complaining about having enough money for food.

Food, at worst, is $25 a day. If he is having trouble with paying $175 a week for food, there are tons of ways to reduce that. I usually got away with spending less than $20 a week while on the road. Toss in $20-$40 in food when I left out...
Sorry, but running out of money and blaming food is... Well it could be true, but very unlikely. -
@imissi ...People here are trying to help you. Lighten up a little.
There are a lot of experienced drivers here and they know a lot.
Maybe the way you've been looking at things isn't quite right. No harm in that.
Take our advice, or don't. Your choice entirely. But don't spit on the hand that helps you.Lonesome, deathB4decaf, snowlauncher and 1 other person Thank this. -
In all seriousness though, I do splurge mebbe once a week, otherwise it's tuna, chili, stew, or ramen the rest of the week. Really brings down the food bill. Having a portable oven/water boiler works wonders too.
TO the original poster, if you haven't caught the point that's being flown over, there's a lot of points of this story that seem...odd. And even more remarks telling you the one true path to glory: Get out of there. Fast. Find a way. There's ah...always...ah...a way. /Goldblum -
