Yep after 63 yrs on this planet many of them playing sports and off road motorcycles my knees are shot. Too many surgeries to count so I'm loving my auto

###### industry is going soft. -
once you get your CDL, and start driving, in time, you will learn to float the gears.
even here at my ripe old retire age of XXX (yes triple digits) my knee's are still rather good. of course, arthritis sets in at any age, that too is a given.
try some "heat rub creams/ointments" as well.
way too many to start naming them all, but if i recall, the main ingredient "capasan"??, you want one that has more of that, than any other out there. -
My knees are gone. But they are not yet broken off and need artificial knees. When that time comes I can expect to be in physical therapy for a year or more. We just don't have time for that. Not at 5000.00 a month.
Those old trucks were something else in their day and the truckers that put up with them were tougher. You only get one body back then when you snap something important or rot internally with RA or whatever eats you up thats the end of your trucking.
But wait. if the foot or knees or whatever else is bad you chop it out and replace it with a new artificial limb or attachment which has been evolving since the wars after 9-11. Ive already started adding replacement parts and we expect three more major joints to fail in addition to the knees within 5 years.
Todays automatic trucks (Our first one was in 2001) are a way of retaining the older trucker who otherwise would be doing something else at home on minimum wage such as working a call center phone or something. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

I don't know. I am enjoying the new joint and its turned out pretty good. However the leg is less capable of certain things such as standing on one foot and does not handle bowling very well. Ive had to replace the ball and have it not only much lighter than the 14 I threw previously but also redrilled a certain way so I can really use some power to throw the #### thing. I am literally relearning how to throw it. I can tell that one tendon the doctor cut apart is the one I need most in bowling. He could have chopped any one ones but no, he has to chop the big one. And that still hurts to this day. I don't think it will ever stop.
