I went to have PM done on my truck, got about an hour and half out and my truck just shut down. They came out and replaced the fuel filter and it started right away. Drove off and shut down again 5 miles down the road. So now it'll start after I prime it sometimes. Then shut down after a while of running. can any help me with this problem

I had the fuel filter and the cap replaced and it ran for 4 hours then shut down again. I started it back up after I primed it. It ran for another 3 hours. So I shut it off and restarted then it started to shut off again. It wasn't throwing any codes either when they did their diagnostics.

It's been replaced 3 times but the first two times they didn't have it tight and a broken oring.

Had this happen a couple weeks ago the fuel filter was letting air in. I was close enough to the office. The boss came out and. Did something. Been three weeks .

I can't figure it out. It'll start now and just shut off.

I had it towed to a shop they said they bypassed the filter and it ran just fine. So I know it has something to do with that filter or somewhere around the housing.

Somewhere in the system they're prone to leaks and sucking in air.

I don't remember where but mine was somewhere around the fuel pump.

Might not be the same problem, though.
