Little Johnny got up in his grandfather's lap one day. Told him about his day at school. Learned some history. came home and asked grandpa, papa, what was a truck driver?

^^^^^^ I wonder how long till such a question is asked?

I’ll admit I had to look at it a few times before I figured out what you were getting at.

My rambler was a 3 speed manual with a married overdrive, a heavy pita. it had a cable manual shift to the over drive unit, no solenoids anywhere. It was my first car, I bought it when I was 13 years old with 3rd gear out and a bad syncro, so got familiar with it before I even drove it. Iirc it cost about 20 bucks back then for the parts to fix the tranny, but since the ramblers had an enclosed driveshaft, that required the rear to be slid back, and that tranny about 3 times what a regular 3spd weighed, it was a pita to get it up and running. At least for a 13 year old. lol

One of my childhood friends was not allowed to say heck because his parents thought heck is profanity. Hahaha

If you google "is the word heck profanity?", you will get lots of hits from people who have asked that question at quora and other websites.

H63 Mack, no air or P/S, 5 main and 2 duplex, think the engine was a Mack by Linova, shelf sleeper... Turned 4 PM Sunday; Columbus MS to LA, loaded dried beans back to Mobile, AL for China Doll and
picked up the paycheck around 3 to 5 next Saturday. Partied Sat nite, slept in Sunday morning, washed,
rinsed, and repeated. Joined the Army to get better future...LOL
