While there are a number of trucks that could be cheap and maybe reliable. The bottom line is unless the truck is best matched to what you need for the job you want it to do. It will not be worth anything, nor will it hold up.
personally, I like a 1985 Ford F-150 long bed with the 300ci six. About as bulletproof as they come.

Being its locked in the polebarn up north in Michigan and I am down in Florida for the winter I informed them the pics will have to wait until Spring.
I plan on taking a week and degreasing and pressure washing than sandblasting and painting the frame and running gear. Detail the n-14 up nice than send some pics.
I hope they bite being I really was counting on going with Mercer if I choose to get off this fence I've been sitting on. -
There’s a 99 Freightliner on here, for sale in classified section. It’s a great deal, for someone starting out. If you can put it to work somewhere. Hard to find a low cost low maintenance Truck for $14 k. If a O/O can’t make money with that Truck, there’s something wrong.
OldeSkool and kemosabi49 Thank this. -
