Thanks for all the advice, and congratulations meechyaboy on landing that great tanker position.
On a side note, I completed my first year 01/17/20, so I’m officially not an entry-level driver anymore.Last edited: Jan 20, 2020

The thing is to keep up the good work.
Milestones at 3 and 5 years. Statistics say that is the window of incidents. As time and experience build, the likelihood of an incident goes down. -
My company hired someone recently who the first time he was on his own he completely tore the clutch out of a t800. That's not how you want to start for yourself. Apparently he tried to start out in 5hi and since the truck would just chug and stall he slipped the clutch until it got moving lol. That's not a good way to start out. Apparently he has very little experience and apparently no common sense. If you let off the clutch and it's struggling excessive STOP what you are doing and re-examine the situation. That could have easily been prevented.
Dump 6 axle- 35 Thanks this. -

I didn’t want to put in a year with a mega so I didn’t. Just started applying for local jobs, all they can say is no, ok on to the next... I like sleeping in my bed.
