I've always gotten a kick out of office people that give attitudes to drivers. I once reminded an office person, I'm an asset to three company, they're a liability. Without us drivers office people have no reason to come into the office and we created income for the company, they cost the company money.

Yep and as big a PIA this merger is for drivers it's a fraction of what the office staff will go through. No drivers who want to stay will lose their job. The same can't be said for dispatchers TMs and other duplicated office staff positions. I doubt this is the first administrative screw up since those folks will be the first to leave.

Since I was speaking of screw ups, I was just at Markham and noticed they posted log violations on the office window with the drivers' names. Now they're publicly shaming drivers. Smh.

I have a friend that works for kag. KAG will do the same but they will list you're driver license number as well.

Huge thanks.... I took a screen shot and saved it, benefits are a bit higher but not much so I'm really glad to read that.... as the annual out of pocket cap is higher, so are the deductibles. Weekly payroll contributions are about the same though. 401k match looks better, so as long as that doesn't change we'll up our contributions.... Huge plus!

By any chance do you have anything on holidays and earned benefits like paid time off for vacations and PTO? Currently my husband has 8 years in with Superior, so has 3 weeks vacation earned.... or 21 days (3 full weeks). We've just been wondering what the changes could be after the merger is complete..... TIA!

Its not a merger. Wish people would stop regurgitating what they read. Heniff bought superior out. Hence taking Superior over. This means they can either implement all new things foe both companies. Recycle what they already know or even demolish superior if they wish and keep the drivers. I'm not going to name names. Hypothetically. But if you were taking over a company wouldnt you want to replace their people with your people. Payroll, dispatchers, terminal managers, he, accounts, training? You cant have two of everything except one thing. Drivers! The more the merrier. However if they dont do aomething soon moral will not be recoverable people will have already moved on. 2nd time people havent got paid its just on a bigger scale this time. Do you think people will stay if you mess with thwir money? No there will be a Drexit (driver exit). Please post better tanker jobs below....

I'm curious as to how you know this will not be a merger?

AND Agreed.... drivers are NOT going to work without being paid

I can assure you it's not a merger.
I've asked and the answer has always been "Heniff does not merge"
What that is going to mean in the end?

This is from a Superior announcement on their website:

Long term, SBL and Heniff — both with corporate offices located in Oak Brook, IL — will merge to form a single entity. The joining forces of these two highly-regarded industry leaders will create the most versatile bulk carrier network in the U.S.

The very definition of merger does not exist here. Give this time to play out and you will understand what Ive been trying to explain to everyone.
