Which Option Is Better, Mega Or Car Haul?

I'm currently finishing up school for my Class A CDL. All of us are discussing which avenue we're going to go after we graduate. Some guys just want to drive a bus and others want to join a Mega. Recently the job advisor was discussing car hauling with us but I think that's a bad idea fresh out of school. They will take people with no experience and train them. I think people would need training to go from unloading a tractor trailer to strapping down cars whether they had prior experience with a tractor trailer or not. Training is not the issue. I just think it would be better to start off in some other career like a Mega to get some sort of experience and learn to drive the tractor trailer then move over to car hauling. I'm also hearing there is a ton of money to make in it if you don't mess the cars up. It's understandable that you won't start off driving Maserati's around but would any of us make more money starting off doing car hauling instead of driving for a Mega? Is it a good idea to skip over getting experience with a Mega or some other tractor trailer job and haul cars right out of school? Any advice for any of us?

    Car hauling gets my vote.

Car hauling is IMO the most demanding trucking job there is. Completely different animal from anything offered at a mega. The guys on top make STUPID money. And I’d have to figure that a car hauler trainers to be, as a whole, superior to the typical dumb and dumber program that the megas push where your trainer has a total of 6 month driving experience.

Car hauling looks cool. Especially with that front top car that’s looming over the top of the driver. Vote casted.
