Best turbo for 6TS 3406e with 58’s and 6999 codes

The borg with 1.45 housing works nice for me, don't remember the part number off hand.

If you were running 57s and a 601 file I'd say just use the 1496-988-0000. But those 58s are going to push that charger perty hard. The 1.48 housing will slow it down and flow more.

 

If that’s a non wastegated housing, does that mean it’s going to smoke more?

if this factory cat turbo for our 3406e craps out someday, then order one like you have? Truck is still at 475 hp but that could change once I get in the engine and overhaul it.
