Black and Chrome anal probe

I did some flatbed time with TMC, only quit because I wanted a job closer to home, little kids, etc. I didn't have a bad experience, though safety had an annoying habit of sending me for a "random" whenever I was within 300 miles of Indianapolis. I almost exclusively stayed in the northeast, partly to avoid the company terminals, and mostly because I discovered that on percentage pay, delivering 5 loads/week was better for the paycheck than the big-miles loads.

I don't think my time there made me a worse person, it definitely advanced my skill set in terms of shifting a transmission with a splitter, and with load securement. I do have a particular dislike for chrome now, which I blame on their over-excited "Black & Chrome" hype. Never was given a polishing kit, either. Had to buy my own dang Windex to clean the glass!

 

Except they teach you to put groups of coils in the middle of the trailer like a brainless slumb. Never teaching you how to load and scale multiple coils.

But I guess if I had there trailer budget I might be lazy too.

I honestly don't think that TMC HR gives a rats buttt about you or your background. I honestly don't think this is anything personal. They are a fairly large company that's just trying to dot their I's and cross their T's to cover their buttts. As a former marine officer you should know this.
You were asked to show documentation and you're throwing a fit over it. Now you're accusing them of age discrimination simply by just looking at pictures. What's the next issue going to be?

i actually ran into the same problem decades ago.

this was well before online applications, and you sent your application in by snail mail.

i had all that the company needed, i provided all that they requested.

i was turned down, and i asked why.

the gal recruiter said, "i can't tell you why"

i said, "but it's me, i need to know so i can either explain or provide what you need"

she said "no"..

i told her to shove my application up her "front body part" and i made sure she knew exactly the name of that body part, i was as to the point as i could have ever been.

that was in my youth, in later years, i'd just tell them to "shove it", (hopefully) they chose an orifice of thier own.

 

It’s all about marketing. You want good-looking people to represent your company. Sex sells.
