May to October he worked hard ?

He'd have never made it back in the day.

And 22 hours from Missouri to Tennessee?

He's got nobody to blame but himself because he DID IT and he obviously didn't have sense enough to record any verbal threats knowing they were likely coming.
He also didn't complain until he fell asleep and screwed the pooch.

    Badmon Thanks this.

Company talks to me like that on the phone oh man i am on the first class load back to the headquarters to kick some ###. Why do drivers put up with that ####? Dispatchers abusing u , telling u break the law. All the old drivers come in here talking about how they run outlaw back inthe day but its a lot different to do that intodays world way to much risk involved to ever think about running in violation. Drivers need to stand up for urself and quit working for these scum bag companies . There is no freight that needs to be ran illegaly. If they need it there that fast then they need to put it on a team truck or a faster form of transportation. At the end of the day the driver gets thrown under the bus by the company and the customer . I just dont understand why drivers is putting up with this ####. I wish a dispatcher would talk to me like that , most of them pimple faced morons aint man enough to say it to ur face . Would love to shove their head thru a desk talking like that

If that was directed at me, I'll be a man and own it.
Way back when I did run like a fool. CRAZY STUFF.

I would not do it now, and don't condone it now. I just said "he only did it for May to Oct" when a bunch of us did it for decades... wrong as it was.

I'm plenty thankful now for being able to run legal and have no worries.
Most times that 11th hour is LONGER than the first 10.

    I couldn't do it again
    Wouldn't do it again.
Probably going to die an early death because of it.
I've seen bunches of my older crowd already planted way too soon. They ran hard, too.

It'll kill ya, one way, or another.

God knows that I ran illegal anytime it suited me too. Sometimes I even ran illegal when I was asked nicely. But force me ??? I dont think so!
These days I am out of trucking, but its not worth the risk.

Dude wrecks his truck then wants to spill the beans along with a lawsuit. It's a tough new world Amazon entered. Started off as a online book seller, now looking to dominate the shipping industry. Bet they had no idea this level of stupid even existed.
Billy wrecks his truck, files lawsuit on Russian owner and Amazon looking all sheepish saying "dont look at us". Lol
Par for the course, and predictable as a sun rise.

Now this is what had me scratching my head.

From Kansas City, just about as far west in Missouri as it gets, to Kingsport, basically as far east as you'll get in Tennessee is only 12 hours ....

So Amazon wants to build it's own fleet, but at the same being Amazon, they will.try to hire the cheapest drivers. I wonder how many lawsuits it will take for them to abandon their private fleet

    jammer910Z and Badmon Thank this.
