That's an Abilene Motor Express truck.

WTF was that driver doing?
Can see the concrete wall directly in front of the tracks forcing him into a 90* turn that is impossible to make. -
Staying in the truck once the gates went down kinda looks like a suicide attempt.

They are wooden cross boards. They come down on you you have two choices, both mean breking a crosing arm. Crossing arm is far cheaper than getting the trailer cut in two. That is unless you wanted a new trailer.

Lol, the Rockland line. Metro North's idiot cousin they never speak of. It actually runs on NJT rails below Suffren. I wasn't even aware they ran service much father up the line, but then there's been lots of growth up that way.
mjd4277 Thanks this. -
Concrete wall wins.

Looks like he can make the corner now that his trailer is shorter.
tinytim, INRUT, Cabinover101 and 4 others Thank this. -
It doesn't pay to get off the truck routes in NJ. Probably following a GPS and no backup plan for when he missed his turn.
Cabinover101 and Bud A. Thank this.
