Do any of y'all remember this, or go through it? I was only 14 at the time myself; my uncle was out in it, in his rig. I know, I'm old. Sheesh.

Today is the 42nd anniversary of. Poor man stuck in his COE for six days, right up the road from Mansfield/Lahm airport. James Truly.

I’ll never forget that storm, they had to use front end loaders to clear our road which took almost a week!

Yep, same here. I got tired of being indoors, so I jumped out a 2nd story window/roof, and landed in a 14' tall drift. Sunk. Dug out sideways, toward the house...and stayed in for a spell or 2, LoL~! Y'all got it good in IN, next door, huh?

Yep we had a 10’ foot drift that blocked the front door at my parents house and school was closed for a week.

I enjoyed the 'no school' part of it, for sure! Got tired of cabin fever, cards, and canned goods tho....LoL~!
